Monthly Basic Fee Article 13.5 - The charge for water service, including no water usage, which funds a portion of the District's operational expenses including meter reading, leak repair, and liability insurance. This fee is payable for availability of water service, which includes no water used.

All accounts, including Active, Transitional and Inactive accounts are billed the Basic Monthly Fee each month whether or not there is any water use occurring.

The minimum service charge is based on meter size.

Monthly Water Flow Charges Article 13.6 - The consumption charge for actual water usage, which funds a portion of the District's operational expenses including power for pumping, lab fees for water testing, and pump & well maintenance.

Water consumption is billed per hundred cubic feet (hcf). One unit equals 748 gallons.

The District has tiered water rates to encourage conservation, where customers pay more for each unit of water as they use more. The District currently has four escalating tiers, or rates, for water usage.

Note:  Rates are in accordance with resolutions previously adopted, our water and wastewater capacity fees became effective on July 18, 2019. See the water rate study located on our transparency page.

Rate & Fees are implemented per Resolution 23-1052 (implemented Scenario "C") 

Meter accuracy testing as of 01/01/2024 is $158. See Rules and Regulations, Articles 1.33 & 13.22)
