Do you ever wonder what exactly is in the water you drink that comes from the Joshua Basin aquifer? We get many questions about what is in our water. Questions like: “Do we add fluoride? Do we add chloramine?” The short answer is that the Joshua Basin Water District’s water comes directly from the aquifer source, as is.  We do add a minimum amount of Chlorine (per State law requirements) to our 300 miles of pipelines to protect our water in the event of a line break, but the water is exactly what nature gives us– straight out of the ground!
